Adoption Visa (Subclass 102)

Contributory Aged Parent Visa (subclass 864)

This visa enables the parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live permanently in Australia.

Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa (subclass 173)

This visa authorises parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to temporarily live in Australia. If the visa is approved and applicant desires to live in Australia permanently, he or she can then apply for a Contributory Parent visa (subclass 143).

Contributory Parent Visa (subclass 143)

This visa enables the parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live permanently in Australia.

Dependent Child Visa (subclass 445)

This temporary visa permits a child to travel to and from Australia or stay in the country until their parent’s permanent Partner visa is finalized

Orphan Relative Visa (subclass 117/837)

This visa allows a child to live in Australia permanently with their sponsoring relative.

Parent Visa (subclass 103)

This visa lets parents of a settled Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen living in Australia permanently. The waiting times for this visa lasts up to 30 years for this visa.

Partner (Provisional and Migrant) Visa (subclass 309/100)

The Partner visas (subclasses 309 and 100) enables the partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to reside in Australia.

If you have the temporary Partner (Provisional) visa (subclass 309), you can stay in Australia while the permanent Partner (Migrant) visa (subclass 100)

Partner Visa (subclass 801/820)

The Partner visas (subclasses 820 and 801) enables the partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to reside in Australia.

If you are granted the temporary Partner (subclass 820) visa, you can stay in Australia while the permanent Partner visa (subclass 801) is processed.

Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass 300)

This family visa allows individuals to come to Australia to marry their potential partner. If your visa is approved, you must marry your potential spouse.

If you have this visa, you should marry your prospective spouse and apply for a Partner (subclasses 820 and 801) visa before your Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) expires.

Remaining Relative Visa (subclass 115/835)

This visa permits a person in Australia whose only relatives are living in Australia to settle in Australia as a permanent resident
