Migration FAQ’s

Konnecting is an Australian skilled migration and recruitment consultancy. We have both Registered Migration Agents (RMAs) and recruitment agents in-house. We are honest with your chances of migration and matching skill set required for a job. We, under no circumstances, make any representation to guarantee finding you a job. Your chances of finding a job, particularly for employer sponsorship, depends entirely on your occupation and qualifications. Obviously, the more qualified and experienced you are, the higher the possibility of connecting you with a suitable employer.

We do not charge the migrant for finding a job. Konnecting provides two distinct services - migration services and recruitment services. For recruitment services, we charge a placement fee to the employer and not to the applicant.

For us to efficiently assess your qualifications and your possibility(ies) eligibility? for Australian migration, we would require you to send us your detailed and updated resume via our Contact Us form. We will then follow up requesting further information from you to determine your Australian migration options and the most appropriate visa for you.

Migration legislation is complex and is constantly changing. Therefore, you need to adapt your visa application to the new legislation, Act, Regulations, and Policy. You may reach one of our RMAs by simply filling and submitting an inquiry form via our Contact Us form. We shall be glad to discuss further your possibility for migration and the most suitable visa for you.

You do not have to use a migration agent to lodge a visa application to Australia. However, if you do use an agent DIBP highly recommends you use a migration agent who is registered with the MARA. A registered migration agent is a licenced agent specialising in Australian migration, Act, Regulations, and Policy.

The UK has reciprocal arrangements with Australia, and you are therefore entitled to Medicare for only "medically necessary treatment" - See fact sheet https://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/united-kingdom-reciprocal-health-care-agreement-and-405-and-410-retirement-visa. "Medically necessary" is a bit confusing definition. Because of the reciprocal arrangement, you will have to pay the Medicare Levy (fair enough).

This depends on the State you are living in.
