Your Application
At Scientific People, we respond to every application—whether you are applying for a specific scientific role or submitting a general expression of interest. Not all of our positions are advertised publicly. We frequently fill roles directly from our internal database, especially for niche or highly technical scientific vacancies.
If you cannot immediately see a suitable role online, we may still be able to assist.
Initial Screening
We communicate with a wide range of candidates across laboratory, research, analytical, environmental, pharmaceutical, and technical science professions.
If your qualifications and scientific experience align with our active or upcoming roles, we will be in touch to discuss your background, preferred locations, and career objectives.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a more detailed phone or video call to ensure you understand the opportunity, and to ensure we fully understand your skills and ambitions. We are always honest if a particular role is not the right fit or if another pathway may be better suited.
Resume Support
We work to ensure your resume truly represents you. We will advise you should we need additional details to guarantee your chances of success. We collaborate with many of our candidates to re-write their resumes.
Interview Support
As your application progresses, we will work closely with you to ensure that you have the details you need at each phase, including interview preparations. We help during this process and know the common mistakes. We are always pleased to provide general support and guidance as well as specifics for clients and processes – including presentations, testing, assessment centres and phone or video interviews. The Result If you get hired for the job, we will support you to your start date, which includes periodical checking once you have started your new role. If your application is unsuccessful, we will endeavour to provide you with constructive feedback. Many of our candidates become future clients because of the positive experience they’ve had with the business – regardless of the application outcome.
