Overview: The Senior Civil Designer specializing in Road Design brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, focusing on the creation of innovative and efficient road designs using advanced software such as 12D. This role is pivotal in shaping the infrastructure landscape, ensuring that our road designs meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. The Senior Civil Designer will lead road design projects, leveraging their proficiency in 12D and other digital tools to produce detailed 3D models and visualizations that enhance project understanding and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities: - Road Design Expertise: Utilize advanced software such as 12D to develop detailed road designs, including alignment, cross-sections, and grading plans.
- Digital Modeling: Leverage 12D and other digital design tools to create accurate 3D models of roads and subdivisions, enabling visualization and analysis of design elements.
- Visualization: Generate realistic 3D images and animations of proposed road designs and subdivisions, facilitating stakeholder communication and project approval processes.
- Project Leadership: Lead road design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate road designs with overall project objectives and requirements.
- Innovation: Explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance road design processes and improve project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of road designs to identify and address potential issues or conflicts, ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including plans, specifications, and technical reports, to support project delivery and construction activities.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years road design experience and 12D experience. For designing roads, Digital Train Module, Create 3D images of roads and subdivisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in 12D software for road design and modeling.
- Strong understanding of road design principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience creating 3D models and visualizations of roads and subdivisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
