Beware of SCAMS

SCAM ALERT!

It has come to our attention that there is a scam going around, whereby someone is pretending to be a recruitment agency, sending WhatsApp or Telegram messages offering a "flexible" job. Lately, the job scams are becoming ubiquitous and we would like to alert everyone. After some back and forth engagement we assume the scammers obtain some financial information to extract money. We have reported to Scamwatch and the AFP. Scamwatch provide more information about how these scams work at Jobs & employment scams | Scamwatch

Some of these scams have mentioned Konnecting.

SCAM ALERT!

Nigerian company issuing visas under “Konnecting”.  There is an emerging scam where a Nigerian company is falsely representing itself as "Konnecting" and offering visa services. Please be aware that this is a deceptive scheme aimed at exploiting individuals seeking legitimate migration and recruitment assistance.
