Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Manufacturing Executive to join our team. The Manufacturing Executive will play a key role in overseeing the mechanical aspect of production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Required Experience: - Strong Manufacturing background, preferable FMCG
- Strong process improvement experience
- Strong Mechanical background, preventative and breakdown
- Project management, E.g. installation of machinery
- Reviewing current maintenance programs and suggesting improvements
- Driving improvements of safety, quality and productivity
- Reducing down time and wastage
- Mechanical certificate or degree
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize the manufacturing process to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and develop teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
