Head of Research based in Melbourne
Salary Circa $225k plus super Plus potential profit share
Privately funded research opportunity requires a highly experienced Head of Research to lead their fantastic team based in Melbourne. The role will see the incumbent take the product through to commercial success. Fully funded on an annual basis by one of Australia's leading philanthropists.
You will manage an ongoing $4 million per annum research project into mimicking the beneficial effects of mild food restriction. The head of research will have full control in the lead up to successfully bringing the findings to market and as such enjoy the potential for profit share from successful commercial outcomes.
You will essentially have previous experience in leading a team of research scientists. You will have experience with the use of CRISPR to achieve epigenetic changes, micro-RNA's, and similar technologies.
This role is open to global candidates who have the desire to live and work in Australia and will be visa sponsored
