Duties
review plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shapes bricks to fit irregular spaces
seal foundations with damp resistant materials and use mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks
check vertical and horizontal alignment
maintain and fix bricks, cement blocks and related structures
cut and design monumental masonry including lettering
build walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab block
