Duties

• assemble, position and mount heating or cooling equipment according to blueprints  

• configure, join and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers 

• connect pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit

• identify heating-cooling system malfunctions 

• check pipes or tubing joints and connections for leak 

• fix or replace defective equipment, components or wiring

• follow all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
