Our client is driving innovation in digital diagnostics services. This International organisation recently launched their subscription-based model into the Australian market. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high growth business within the automotive industry. 
  
About the role
As a member of the diagnostic and calibration team, communicate and consult with workshops and car side technicians to complete diagnostics scans, calibrations, ADAS services, and program new modules using cutting edge technology.
  
Our technicians effectively use OEM scan tools and digital resources for automotive diagnostics and repair information, and all of this is completed remotely.

Duties
  • Perform all necessary diagnostic and control job end to end using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
  • Identifying and diagnosing issues and malfunctions in engines and components.
  • Testing and fine-tuning mechanical parts post-repair to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Evaluate information and data and provide comprehensive interpretation of technical information.
  • Provide accurate technical diagnoses and repairs required over chat and phone to car side technicians.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop solutions that meet the needs of the client.
  • Provide customers with reports on remote diagnostic jobs and outcomes.
  • Keep up to date of new technologies and vehicles overview.
  • Learn, design, and improve work processes.
Skills and experience
  • MVTC certified.
  • ADAS experience.
  • Technical understanding of diagnostics and its use in vehicle repairs.
  • Technically proficient with ability to learn new software systems.
  • Customer-focused and commercially aware.
  • Self-motivated, high energy and possessing a desire to be a part of bringing an innovative product to market.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Two years of car dealership experience or experience in an independent workshop as an Automotive Technician.
  • OEM scan tool and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge.
  • Strong automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience
