We are seeking a diligent and skilled Agricultural Technician to join a team for regional NSW workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of agricultural operations, including crop production, soil management, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in a dynamic agricultural environment and contribute to the advancement of sustainable farming practices.
Job duties and responsibilities: · Assembling machines and equipment
· Inspecting machinery to determine any problems or malfunctions with the device
· Regular maintenance of the machinery and equipment
· Repairing the equipment
· Testing the equipment once repaired to ensure proper performance
· Ensuring health and safety standards are met
· Maintaining records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Valid driver’s license
Benefits: - Annual salary offer range from 70,000 - 95,000 commensurate with experience.
