Sales Engineer - Industrial Solutions Brisbane South to Tweed Heads Territory

$100k Base Salary + Super + Vehicle + Bonus

This position is ideally suited to an experienced and commercially successful technical sales professional who enjoys working closely with industrial clients to provide practical engineering solutions that improve performance, efficiency and productivity.

Covering a well-established territory from Brisbane South through to the Tweed Heads region, this role offers a strong mix of existing account management, solution-based selling and new business development across multiple industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will join a highly respected international organisation known for innovation, technical excellence and long-term customer partnerships.

About the Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with industrial clients across a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, food processing, chemical, automotive, energy and processing industries.

The role requires a technically capable sales professional who can understand customer processes, identify opportunities for improvement and provide tailored engineered solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts across the territory
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Conducting on-site technical assessments and product demonstrations
  • Providing consultative, solution-based sales support to industrial clients
  • Preparing proposals, quotations and technical recommendations
  • Working closely with internal engineering and technical support teams
  • Supporting customers with process improvement and equipment optimisation initiatives
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and relationship management
About You To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must demonstrate:
  • Minimum 3 years' proven success in technical or industrial sales
  • Strong commercial sales ability with a track record of achieving results
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand industrial processes and equipment
  • Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or process-related environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to business development
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-selling capability
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing a regional territory effectively
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:
  • Pumps, valves, piping or fluid handling systems
  • Industrial automation or process equipment
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics or engineered systems
  • Manufacturing or industrial engineering environments
  • Technical B2B sales roles
