Electrotechnology and telecommunications trade is the smallest industry in Australia which covers electricity supply, generation, transmission and distribution, gas supply, water supply as well as sewerage and waste disposal. It plays an important role in the trade industry. The advances in technology, as well as booming construction sector, caused a huge demand for electric, communication, and engineering trade workers.
Part-time work is uncommon. Minimum requirements for construction trade workers include AQF Certificate III or IV, at least three years of relevant experience, and registration or license.
