Roof plumbers install, maintain and fix flashings, metallic roof and wall claddings and rainwater products such as gutters and downpipes.  Minimum requirements for roof plumber include diploma, relevant experience and registration. Common duties include:

Duties

• review illustrations and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required 

• select and install roof sheeting and wall cladding 

• construct and install roof drainage components and external flashings

• install roof components, composite roof systems roof coverings to curved roof structures

• repair isolation to roofs, corrugated roof sheeting to trusses and composite sheet roofing to outdoor living areas 

• erect steel framework for outdoor living areas
