Commencing November 1, 2011 there are some alterate tests allowable to demonstrate the required English levels for student visas.
In Summary, these are:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Paper-Based and Internet-Based (TOEFL iBT) tests;
- Cambridge Advanced English Test (CAE);
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic); and
- Occupational English Test (OET).
