This is a question that every potential applicant asks, and the answer varies greatly depending on the particular visa you have applied for (457, ENS, Skilled Independent, Skilled Sponsored etc), whether you lodged online or paper application, whether onshore or offshore, whether you used a registered agent (this is a highly topical discussion for another day), and whether all the correct paperwork was supplied with the application (refer whether you used registered agent).
