Eligibility
To be eligible for Skilled Graduate Visa, supporting documents and other substantial evidence must be submitted at the time the application has been made to DIBP. Eligibility requirements include:
(1) must be under 50 years of age
(2) must hold an eligible visa
(3) must have met the English language requirement
(4) must have met the Australia study requirement in the last six months
(5) must have met the health and character requirements
(6) must have health insurance in Australia
Conditions
Condition 8501 must be imposed which requires the visa holder to have adequate health insurance while in Australia.

Pathway to Permanent Residence
Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) is an 18-month up to 4 years temporary residence visa allowing recently graduated students to obtain the required work experience to apply for permanent residence. While on a Skilled Graduate Subclass 485 it may be possible to apply for other visas if eligibility criteria are met, including:
