  • remove rust and other debris from a vehicle panel
  • fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface
  • match colours and mix paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
  • applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
  • touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
 

What are the basic requirements to be eligible for a Vehicle Painter/Spray Painter?

  • AQF Certificate III or IV
  • Relevant experience
  • Registration or licensing may be required
